Anthony Thomas Builders is a family-owned business that specializes in quality custom homes. Custom building does not mean expensive homes. It means building a home with the client's ideas and client's life-style in mind, a home that is uniquely the client's! This continues to be our philosophy today at Anthony Thomas Builders.

Started in 1993 and based in downtown Hartland on Capitol Drive, Anthony Federspill and partner/father-in-law Thomas Waldera, longtime area businessman in the banking industry, worked together to establish a business with a good reputation. Anthony's mother-in-law, Sharon, is the office manager, and brother-in-law Paul has brought his carpentry and business skills from his own business, to the organization as expediter.

Anthony's support at home comes from his wife Jill and their children, Tyler, Cade, Tanner & Kallyn. Coming back to Southeastern Wisconsin to start his own business was already decided in 1992 while he and Jill were living in the western suburbs of Chicago. Anthony had worked for two very large building firms in the Chicagoland area and had the responsibility for building hundreds of homes under corporate rules and procedures. While wearing all of the hats as an estimator, contract negotiator and general manager of construction, the final decisions affecting quality & home owner satisfaction were still made by the company owners. It was time to control those decisions and get back to meeting the client's needs and wants.

Anthony Thomas Builders are meeting those needs and wants. Our best salespeople are our clients. We enjoy the process of working directly with the clients and designing and building their dream home. A large percent of our clients are people who can't find what they want in the marketplace. Our unique approach of truly listening to the client has paid major dividends.

Of the house plans we have completed, only one was not built, due to the clients personal situation. We are proud to give our clients the quality, craftsmanship and service they deserve. The same is true for the subcontractors of Anthony Thomas Builders, most of whom have been associated since the beginning. We have an open line of communication with the crews and clients. We work together from the drawing stage through the construction on the job site to make things right. We like to work with the principals of the subcontractors, educating them on the Anthony Thomas credo of look out for the clients best interests. Many times we get suggestions from the job site during construction of a better way to proceed and try to apply them. We discuss the options, talk to the client, and if issues of cost vs utility works, we use it.
